How to use Cross-Device Sync on Android?

Android to macOS

1. Add Canary to Android and set up everything in it.

2. Make sure to toggle ON Cross-Device Sync on Android device via Canary > Settings > Cross-Device Sync > Toggle ON ‘Sync across devices’. Send it to your macOS device.

3. Then install and open Canary on macOS, tap on ‘Continue’, choose “Restore”.

4. Now, drag & drop that image onto the QR Code import screen.

Android to iOS

1. Add Canary to Android and set up everything in it.

2. Make sure to toggle ON Cross-Device Sync on Android device via Canary > Settings > Cross-Device Sync > Toggle ON ‘Sync across devices’.

3. Then install and open Canary on iOS, tap on ‘Continue’, choose “Restore”.

4. Scan the QR Code by pointing Android device to iOS device. You can find the QR Code on Android device via Canary > Settings > Cross-Device Sync.

Android to Android

1. Add Canary to first Android device and set up everything in it.

2. To use Canary on other Android device, make sure to toggle ON Cross-Device Sync on first Android device via Canary > Settings > Cross-Device Sync > Toggle ON ‘Sync across devices’.

3. Then install and open Canary on other Android device, tap on ‘Continue’, choose “Restore”.

4. Scan the QR Code by pointing other Android device to first Android device. You can find the QR Code on Android device via Canary > Settings > Cross-Device Sync > Toggle ON ‘Sync across devices’.

Android to Windows

1. Add Canary to Android and set up everything in it.

2. Make sure to toggle ON Cross-Device Sync on Android device via Canary > Settings > Cross-Device Sync > Toggle ON ‘Sync across devices’. Send it to your Windows device.

3. Then install and open Canary on Windows, tap on ‘Continue’, choose “Restore”.

4. Now, drag & drop that image onto the QR Code import screen.
