Yes, Canary Mail supports Family Sharing for both Subscriptions and Lifetime purchases. If you’ve purchased Canary Pro and wish to share it with your family member(s), follow the appropriate steps below based on your purchase type.
iOS (for Subscriptions)
1) Enable 'Family Sharing' via Device Settings > Apple ID > Family Sharing > Toggle ON. Add family member via the '+' icon at the top right (if not already added).

2) Under 'Family Sharing', go to 'Subscriptions' and check if 'Canary Mail' is already listed. If not, go to 'Manage Subscriptions'.

4) Under 'Manage Subscriptions', toggle on 'Share with Family' for Canary Mail.

4) Ask your family member/(s) to 'Restore Purchase' on their device via Canary > Settings > Get Pro > Tap on 'Restore Purchase' at the top left.

Canary Pro should now be restored on your family member's iOS device.
macOS (for Subscriptions)
1) Enable 'Family Sharing' via Device Settings > Family Sharing > Toggle ON. Add family member via the 'Add Member' icon (if not already added).

2) Check if Family Sharing has been enabled for Canary via App Store > Account > Account Settings > Manage > Check 'Share with Family'.

3) Ask your family member/(s) to 'Restore Purchase' on their device via Canary Mail > Click on 'Canary Mail' in the Menubar > Canary Pro > Tap on 'Restore Purchase' at the top left.

Canary Pro should now be restored on your family member's device.
For Lifetime Purchases
Unlike subscriptions, lifetime purchases do not appear under Family > Subscriptions > Manage Subscriptions. To share a lifetime plan:
1. Add your family member under Device Settings > Apple ID > Family Sharing.

2. Ensure Purchase Sharing is enabled on both the Organizer’s and Family Member’s devices.

3. Ask the family member to:
- Install and open Canary Mail on the same platform the lifetime purchase was originally made on (i.e., iOS or macOS).
- Tap Restore Purchase in the app (via Canary > Settings > Upgrade Now).
- Once activated, they can sync it to their other devices by using the same email address shown on the ‘Upgrade Now’ screen.
Note:
1. Both the family member and the family organizer should be in the same region.
2. If you’ve purchased the Pro plan from iOS, your family member will first have to activate Canary Pro on his/her iOS via the steps mentioned above. Once the Pro version is activated on iOS, the purchase can be synced on the macOS device.
3. If you’ve purchased the Pro plan from macOS, your family member will first have to activate Canary Pro on his/her macOS via the steps mentioned above. Once the Pro version is activated on macOS, the purchase can be synced on the iOS device.
