In some rare situations the local database may have an error. In this case you may see incorrect threading or incorrect sender / recipient details. If so, this can be fixed via a Re-Index.
For Mac, Go to the File tab found in the upper left portion of the screen, open it then select Re-Index.
For iOS, Go to Settings > Advanced > Re-Index.
