We understand that some of you have been experiencing issues with the current version of our Windows app, and we want you to know that we’re taking decisive action to address these concerns.
After careful evaluation, we’ve identified that the root cause of these issues lies in our choice of technology stack, particularly our use of JavaFX. In response, we’re excited to share that we’re re-writing the Canary Mail app for Windows using the cutting-edge WinUI 3 framework.
This transition represents a significant leap forward in terms of stability, performance, and user experience. By leveraging WinUI 3, we’re confident that we’ll be able to iron out any existing issues and deliver a seamless and reliable email experience for all our Windows users.
